SCOPE OF WORK + TEAM Reports to Director of Housekeeping/Executive Housekeeper/ Housekeeping Manager Supports the Housekeeping team RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to regularly walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift while checking and servicing guest room minibars exerting up to 40 pounds of force when pulling, and pushing minibar supply cart. Frequently, lift, carry, push, or otherwise move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds. Ringing of checks and maintaining Mini bar Register. Authorized to enter in all guest rooms pertaining to Mini bar at any given point of time. Stock and replace missing items, inspect, move and clean the mini-bars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies. Maintain, track and complete daily worksheet of mini bar stock. Responsible for replenishment of Mini bar items in rooms. Responsible for maintaining the Mini bar Pantry in terms of par stock, stacking and cleanliness. Ensure products in Mini-Bar are not expired and take the proper procedure to remove those products as necessary. Maintain assigned Mini-Bar carts. Raise store requisition and obtain stock from warehouse and store in the assigned storerooms. Maintain and complete assigned floors and rooms requesting Mini-Bar service. Maintain the highest level of customer service and display professionalism at all times. Assist housekeeping with special projects when needed. Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures. Ensure rotation of all mini-bar products. Properly complete, maintain and track inventory in assigned storerooms. Display appropriate two-way radio etiquette at all times. Report all mini-bar concerns to management including any guest issues. Perform any other duties deemed necessary for the success of the department. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Knowledge of Point of sale (POS) systems, Handheld POS, inventory and store requisition software and reporting tools. Previous experience in hotel industry. EXPERIENCE: Prior Experience: 1 + year of experience working at a luxury or equivalent establishment, with previous hotel minibar experience preferred. Reading and understanding of the English language and ability to verbally communicate with guests. IT Expertise: Technology savvy, able to use and comprehend handheld tablet. Knowledge of the hotel rooms and minibar system. Education: High School diploma or GED or related field or equivalent education experience preferred. Subject Expertise: Must be energetic and outgoing. Must be service oriented with excellent customer service skills. Must be able to follow directions with focus to detail, speed, and accuracy. Must be able to sustain composure, remain calm and possess a positive attitude. Must be a team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have basic knowledge of arithmetic. Must have the ability to input data and access information on the computer. Must be able to read, write and understand the English language. Must be able to exercise confidentiality and discretion. OTHER EXPECTATIONS: Abide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct as stated in the Springboard Hospitality Team Member Handbook. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all company safety and security procedures. Hours Required: Must primarily work during Springboard Hospitality business hours, Monday - Sunday 8am - 6pm (PST), while understanding that the hotel business functions 24/7 and weekend and / or holiday work, will be required.
