Supply Planning and Innovation Strategies: Kak Tasya highlighted the need for meticulous skills in data analytics for robust supply planning. Additionally, she emphasized the critical role of strong project management in driving innovation planning. This dual focus on strategic development has broadened my perspective on navigating the evolving demands of the industry.3.) Collaborative Challenge Tackling: Challenges in the supply chain often require collaborative solutions. Kak Tasya shared her experiences in navigating obstacles by fostering collaboration with stakeholders across the board—marketing, sales, manufacturing, R&D, and procurement. As a recruitment consultant and lean six sigma yellow belt, I am keen to continue my CI journey and get my green belt boxed off in the near future! My ambition to do this has stemmed from speaking to hundreds of CI professionals within the food and drink sector, fascinated by the value they add!Continuous improvement is paramount in the food and drink manufacturing industry, especially with the ever-increasing focus on sustainability and cost reduction. 🤝According to recent research from McKinsey, one of the most effective strategies for improvement is to create a culture of continuous improvement. 📊Take Coca-Cola, for example. In 2020 they achieved a 20% reduction in energy use and a 15% reduction in water use across all their plants. 💡Or Nestle, who have a commitment to reduce the water used for their production to less than 50 litres per kilo of finished product by 2030. 💧Mars have also implemented a continuous improvement culture, leading to a 12% decrease in CO2 emissions since 2015. 🌍Mondelez are also leading the way, with a commitment to source all of their cocoa sustainably by 2025. 🌱Smaller organisations can also benefit from continuous improvement cultures. Start-ups and SMEs have adopted innovative approaches to use data to create more efficient processes and reduce costs. 📊It’s clear that driving a continuous improvement culture across businesses in the food and drink manufacturing industry is essential for achieving sustainability and cost savings goals. 💯#FoodManufacturing #ContinuousImprovement #DataDrivenBusiness #focusfmcl #foodjobs #InvestedInTalent #foodindustryjobs #fmcgjobs #foodmanufacturingjobs #foodandbeverageindustry #newcareers #hiring #newjob #Focus #FoodIndustryExperts #employeeowned🤝📊💡💧🌍🌱

I am happy to share a significant milestone in my transitional journey – I am now a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) by APICS, The Association for Supply Chain Management!📚✨Throughout my military career, I have had the privilege to lead diverse cross functional teams, manage multi-crore supply chains, and overcome high-pressure, VUCA scenarios. This journey has instilled in me valuable skills in stakeholder management, strategic decision making, procurement, logistics, warehousing and the fine art of handling ever-evolving challenges and Supply Chain disruptions. Now, as I stand at the threshold of transitioning into the corporate sector, the CSCP certification serves as my guide to align me with the latest tools, knowledge, and strategies to enrich my existing practical experience and bridge the gap between military and corporate supply chain dynamics.🤝While I have spent the last two decades mastering the intricacies of military Supply Chain, I am excited to harness the power of this certification to adapt and excel in the corporate landscape. My military background has ingrained in me the values of discipline, integrity, and effective decision-making, which I believe are invaluable assets that I will bring to the corporate world.💼I would like to definitely mention Col V Girish (Retd) MBA, PMP, LSSGB, Umang Trehan, Ishani Maitra, Pradipta Kanjilal (PK) and Indranil Datta for bearing with me and thank Rajib Saha Mondal, ABHIJIT DATTA, SUBHASREE DATTA, Sabyasachi Sengupta, Samrat Mukhapadhyay and Nilanjan Sengupta for nudging me now and then. Here's to learning, growing, and making a positive impact!🚀🌍#CSCP #SupplyChainManagement #Certification #ProfessionalJourney #MilitaryExperience #CorporateTransition #SupplyChainExcellence #Leadership #Logistics #NewChapter #MilitarytoCorporate
